What are the Computer hardware courses available under DOEACC scheme?

Research and surveys conducted at national levels throughout Indiahas shown a great lack of professional computer hardware sector employees in the field of computer soft ware. Estimated need for professionals in the filed of computer hardware by the end of this year is approximately 2.4 million.

DOEACC Society has recognized the need of developing a system to facilitate learning systems of computer hardware and related systems and therefore has formulated a course in this regard.   The society with collaboration of Manufacturers Association for Information Technology also known as MAIT has introduced a new course for the study and development of computer hardware. Purpose of this course is to create a team of quality professionals who are skilled and knowledgeable in all activities and undertakings in relation to producing computer hardware and its maintenance and repairs. MAIT is a unique national body of Indiainvolved in the computer hardware industry. The course structure is developed in consultation of experts in other computer institutions in Indiaand with the available facilities in DOEACC centers and other organizations in the private and non formal sector.

Course duration is one year and consists of two levels. First level being the Diploma in computer hardware Maintenance known as CHM-0 Level and the second level is the advanced diploma for Computer hardware maintenance and also net working of computer systems. This level is also known as CHM – A Level. Successful candidates who will be chosen to follow this course will be eligible to join employment in the capacities of service or trainee computer engineers, technical support and information technology engineers after passing the first level of the course. For the professionals who will successfully complete the final level of the course they can look out for more senior positions such as group network engineers, company or group chief information officers, computer network administers or analysts and other senior positions that befit their professional qualifications. The main coordinating center for this course at DOEACC is the center located at Aurangabadand the society aspires to train and produce an output of at least 5000 professionals through this course study method.
